Hello folks,
I'm a newby to modifying a theme, but I have successfully activated a child theme to my TwentyTwelve theme and am looking to customize its home page. I'd like the home page to display a small thumbnail image of the posts and the post title. You can see the site I'm building here: http://xiangliartcom.fatcow.com.
The best example of what I'm trying to accomplish can be found on the first column of the site I'm working on. You can see it here: http://xiangliart.wordpress.com.
What would be the best way to accomplish what I'm looking for? will modifying the CSS do that? Or would a plugin solution work best?
I'm thinking that setting the home page to display a static page that contains the blog posts and their thumbnails preceding their titles is the way to go, but I don't know how to code that page.
