DarioAngelo on "[Theme: Virtue] How is a prtfolio post different from other types ?"

Hi !
I love your theme and want to use it in my new photo blog (and possibly other blogs) I have some questions:
1. I guess my type should be a portfolio post. I understand that my Facebook integration works with this type. Also, Facebook comments are possible. The image is featured in the grid on the main page (on some themes when you feature you have a photo and its copy above, which is irritating)
2. Portfolio posts must belong to a specific portfolio. Can I name them according to photos categories (Nature, People etc) and feature them in slides somewhere ?
3. More traditional posts, which I'll occasionally put on this blog will also have categories - will they be on the category list together with portfolio categories ? If so, that's great !
4. I have a problem with a featured photo with "traditional" posts in a grid - obviously I want a thumbnail and the title to show up -instead it's the title (and excerpt) and the featured photo appears somewhere above, which is not the way I like it.
Can you help with these points ? I'd like to start with the right way, so I can't start it...
5. Under portfolio there's portfolio type, not any portfolio post.
