pjcs710 on "[Theme: raindrops] add slider across page above sidebars?"

I would like to add a slider in the body of my home page but want it to cover the entire width of the page, not just in between the side bars. I want the sidebars to be directly below the slider. Is this possible in the raindrops theme. I have seen this in other themes and really like it. Want to use this to advertise specials.
