WanderingOtaku on "[Theme: ComicPress] Multiple Comic and Archive issues"

Hello,

I've been trying to figure things out on my own and following the tutorials and numerous forum posts but I've hit a wall.

1) For multiple comics on one site, how do you set up a "thumbnail" for the latest issue? I currently have the front page going to a static page where I have links going to the two categories that I will be using for the two comics I am going to be having. They can be seen at the following link:
http://www.osfgalatea.com/comictest/
That works fine. What I would prefer to have is an accompanying thumbnail of the page over the link, which will update every time the most recent page of that category/storyline is updated (an example of the look would be at http://comicjams.net/ where it says "Newest Comicjam Pages"-- I'm not sure if this is using comicpress to get the effect, but I was hoping we could get it.) Is there a way to do this? I would prefer not to have a static image there, but if I have no alternative I will do that...

2) Along side that, is there a way to get the most recent date the comic was updated by that link as well?

3) With regards to the archive, I have set up a page for an archive at:
http://www.osfgalatea.com/comictest/archives/

I have used the shortcode of [comic-archive list=1 thumbnail=1 order=desc] on the page but all it returns is:
Archives - 2014
|

There is nothing else set up on the page. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for the help! I've been getting the hang of how this works, and solving my problems, but this is a wall I can't get over.
