Ward looks to me the perfect theme for a couple of community websites I'm working. There's just one thing... The people behind both sites want a slider up top. One wants it instead of the Jumb Headline, the other wants it as well as & above it.
I've found a slider I really like (http://wordpress.org/plugins/ml-slider/) which I can inject using either a shortcode or PHP snippet. I've found that putting the shortcode in the Jumbo Headline just gives me the shortcode in jumbo text.
Short of creating a child theme does either Ward or Ward Pro provide a way of including a slider above of in place of the Jumbo Headline? I find no mention of sliders on the Ward Pro page but a slider option is part of what comes with Ward Pro that may be my incentive to upgrade.
