Taneya on "[Theme: Weaver II] Remove post date and author"

I am helping someone with their website and they would like to remove the author name and date from each post. I am trying to make a child theme, but can't tell which file to edit to remove those two elements. Can someone perhaps help and share with me which file I need to edit for the child theme?
