With almost 50,000 downloads of my Celestial Lite theme, I am considering completely recoding and redesigning this theme but my concern is that the amount of changes I plan to make will definitely affect all those who are using Celestial Lite. The changes are based on the complete redesign of my Pro version and I wanted to make it easier for a direct upgrade for anyone wanting to.
However, the concern is that there would be so many changes, including structure layout, and widget positions, etc., that it would definitely affect sites that use this theme.
Is there a way to inform people of the significant changes before they click to update in their dashboard, or should I submit this as a new theme?
