The wordpress forum theme I purchased doesn't allow me to insert plugins to my homepage. I believe what I am looking to do is create a fixed home page, in order to place an image gallery or image slider just beneath the header.
I'm not quite sure where to go to even begin. Should I modify a particular .php file, such as front-page.php?
Any help on how to approach this customization would be of much value to me. Thanks!
