I've seen this question posted many times but the answers always seem outdated as they don't work.
There is no plugin I can find to remove: the date, author, category directory at the top of posts, and the related post link at the bottom of posts.
One suggestion I've seen is to disable comments on each individual post - but that option (the one I've seen linked to elsewhere) isn't an option in my Responsive theme. I already remove comments using the "quick edit" and it doesn't change the author or date etc.
Some people suggest removing things within the CSS or .php, but I then someone always says not to edit that and use a child theme for edits.
I've installed a child theme but there is no place in the child theme to remove the codes for these options. It is simply a blank CSS sheet - how do I remove something that isn't there?
