cookiegirl on "[Theme: Supernova] Search doesn't show up in top navigation unless I scroll down"

Hi

I have selected to have the search option in my top navigation. I can't see this function unless I scroll down the page. Only then can I see the magnifying glass and I am able to use the search function.

Is there any way of allowing search to work without having to scroll down?
