So I successfully created a TwentyTwelve Child theme, uploaded it, and everything was perfect.

I wanted to use the same child theme on another site of mine, but with one tiny function added.
So I copied my working style sheet and added the new function.php and header.php (added a widget area to the header). And it didn't work. It was like there was no CSS at all, from the parent or from the child.

To troubleshoot, I removed the php files, renamed it and tried again. Same result.
Note, this is the EXACT same child theme consisting ONLY of a stylesheet. All I did was change the name in the folder from 2012child 2.zip to 2012child 3.zip
This is driving me nuts. Can't figure it out. I've made child themes before where I went and added contents to the folder (like a screen shot), re-compressed them, and uploaded with no problem.
Would love help figuring out what I'm missing here.
